For my Two in One art piece I decided to morph an elephant and the Eiffel Tower together. I drew the elephant's head and then for the trunk I had it morph into the Eiffel Tower. I decided to morph this two things because I had seen some inspiration on Pinterest with the Eiffel Tower turning into an elephant and thought of the idea to have the elephant's trunk turn into the Eiffel Tower.
These two items that I morphed together actually do relate to me. I have a bit of an obsession with elephants and find them so peaceful and I respect them so much. They also look really cute on clothing or jewelry! I also have a little of an obsession with Paris too. When I grew up I would love to travel and explore the world and Paris and the Eiffel Tower are on the top of my list.
For me the most successful part of this piece was the elephant. I feel like I was really able to capture the texture and wrinkles of an elephants body. Using charcoal for the elephant was a really good idea because I was able to get that texture with all the different types of charcoal. If there was one thing I could change it would probably be that I wouldn't use charcoal for the Eiffel Tower. Because I used charcoal the lines would fade and wouldn't be precise which is what the Eiffel Tower is. Though I was able to get in between the lines with an eraser and erase the excess charcoal and make the lines sharper.
